Terms of Service

Article 1 Purpose

These Terms of Service set forth the rights, obligations, responsibilities, service use conditions, and procedures between Nacre Inc. and users in relation to the use of the Policube service provided by Nacre Inc.

Article 2 Definitions

The terms used in these Terms have the following meanings.

“User”Any person who uses the Service in accordance with these Terms
“Assessment”The political orientation assessment feature that calculates results related to key axes such as economy, culture, power, and social scope, as well as belief intensity, based on the User’s responses to questions
“Result”The axis scores, belief intensity, one of the 16 political type results, result interpretation, result page, and shareable information calculated based on the User’s responses
“Content”Questions, type names, type descriptions, result interpretations, images, graphics, text, code, designs, data structures, logos, trademarks, and other materials provided within the Service
“Random UUID”A randomly generated identifier used to distinguish the User’s assessment result or provide the result page
“Company”Nacre Inc., the operator of Policube

Article 3 Posting and Amendment of the Terms

The Company posts these Terms on the Service screen or a separate linked page so that Users can easily access them.

The Company may amend these Terms to the extent that such amendment does not violate applicable laws.

If the Company amends these Terms, the Company will notify Users of the effective date and reason for amendment through the Service screen or notices.

If a User continues to use the Service after the effective date of the amended Terms, the User may be deemed to have agreed to the amended Terms. However, if the amendment is unfavorable or material to Users, the Company will provide clearer notice in accordance with applicable laws.

If a User does not agree to the amended Terms, the User may stop using the Service.

Article 4 Matters Not Provided in the Terms

Matters not provided in these Terms shall be governed by the Privacy Policy, applicable laws, and general commercial practices.

Matters concerning the processing of personal information shall be governed by the Company’s Privacy Policy.

Article 5 Description of the Service

The Company may provide Users with the following services.

  • Political orientation assessment questions
  • Calculation of axis scores based on question responses
  • Provision of one of 16 political type results
  • Provision of additional information related to belief intensity
  • Result interpretation and type descriptions
  • Result pages
  • Result sharing features
  • Statistics or content by country or type
  • Analysis and research for service quality improvement
  • Advertising or partnership content

The Company may change, add, or discontinue all or part of the Service for service quality improvement, operational needs, or technical reasons.

Article 6 Nature of the Service

Policube is a self-understanding assessment service designed to help Users understand their political values and policy preference tendencies.

The Result is reference information calculated based on the User’s responses. It is not a definitive judgment of the User’s actual political opinions, party support, candidate support, election choices, social identity, ideology, or beliefs.

The Result does not replace medical, psychological, legal, academic, election strategy, or public opinion research judgment.

The Result is not provided for the purpose of inducing Users to support or oppose any particular political party, candidate, political organization, ideology, or policy position.

Users must use the Result only as reference information at their own judgment and responsibility.

Article 7 Political Neutrality

The Company does not directly represent the interests of any particular political party, candidate, political organization, election campaign, political campaign, or political force through Policube.

The questions, types, and result descriptions of the Service are provided for the purpose of understanding political values in a multidimensional way.

The type names, descriptions, and interpretations provided by the Service are not intended to fix Users into, or stigmatize Users as belonging to, any particular political camp.

The Company endeavors to respect political neutrality and Users’ autonomous judgment in operating the Service.

Article 8 User Consent and Use of the Service

Users may use the Service after agreeing to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

Political orientation assessment responses and results may constitute sensitive information from which political opinions can be inferred. The Company may obtain separate consent for the processing of sensitive information before the Assessment begins.

Use for service quality improvement and research may be separated from processing necessary to provide assessment results, and the Company may obtain separate optional consent where necessary.

Users may refuse to give consent. However, if a User does not consent to the mandatory processing necessary to provide assessment results, the User cannot use the political orientation assessment.

Article 9 User Obligations

Users shall not engage in any of the following acts when using the Service.

  • Violating applicable laws or these Terms
  • Infringing the rights, reputation, credit, privacy, personal information, or intellectual property rights of others
  • Using the Service for illegal, malicious, or deceptive purposes
  • Using Service Results to insult, discriminate against, exclude, stigmatize, or harass others
  • Using Service Results as a basis for decisions that may significantly affect individuals, including employment, personnel evaluation, admission, transactions, insurance, loans, political exclusion, or social disadvantage
  • Using Service Results to conclusively determine or publicly stigmatize another person’s political orientation
  • Unauthorized copying, distribution, sale, modification, crawling, scraping, or database creation of the Service’s questions, results, type descriptions, images, data structures, or designs
  • Attempting to compromise or bypass the Service’s security, servers, databases, networks, APIs, or client code
  • Generating an abnormal volume of requests using automated tools, bots, scripts, or similar methods
  • Attempting to distort statistics or results through false responses, repeated responses, or manipulated requests
  • Damaging the reputation or credibility of the Company or any third party
  • Any other act that interferes with the normal operation of the Service

Article 10 Prohibited Political Use

Users shall not use the Service for the following purposes.

  • Estimating individual voters’ political orientations for election campaigns or election strategy
  • Targeting for a particular political party, candidate, political organization, or political campaign
  • Tracking, classifying, disclosing, selling, or sharing an individual’s political orientation
  • Discriminating against or excluding individuals or groups based on political opinions
  • Using Service Results as a basis for political attacks, ridicule, stigmatization, incitement, or hate speech

If any of the above acts are confirmed, the Company may take necessary measures, including restricting use of the Service, blocking access, deleting related data, or taking legal action.

Article 11 Result Sharing Feature

Users may share their own Assessment Results.

A result sharing URL may contain identifying information necessary to display the result page.

If a User shares a Result, the recipient of the shared link may view the content of that result page.

Users must carefully decide whether to share their Results.

The Company is not responsible for any disadvantage, misunderstanding, dispute, or reputational harm arising from Results voluntarily shared by Users, except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence by the Company.

The Company may restrict or display differently in sharing mode certain features that shared viewers do not need to see, such as retaking the Assessment, rating the Result, or encouraging further sharing.

Article 12 Research and Statistical Use

The Company may use Assessment responses and Result data for service quality improvement, question improvement, type description improvement, result calculation method improvement, analysis of response trends by country, statistical analysis, and research.

The Company does not, in principle, collect directly identifiable information such as names, email addresses, or phone numbers in connection with assessment data.

The Company may analyze data using random UUIDs and country information.

The Company may conduct analysis after pseudonymizing or anonymizing the data so that specific individuals cannot be identified.

Research and statistical analysis results may be used for service improvement, academic or non-academic research, internal analysis, public content, and business materials. In such cases, specific individuals will not be identifiable.

If separate consent is required for research and quality improvement purposes, the Company may obtain separate consent from Users.

Article 13 Advertising and Partnerships

The Company may display advertisements, partnership content, sponsored content, or external links within the Service.

When Users access a third-party website, service, product, or content through an advertisement or external link, the terms and privacy policy of the relevant third party apply.

The Company does not directly sell or provide Users’ assessment responses, political orientation results, or 16-type results to advertisers.

The Company does not target advertisements for specific political parties, candidates, political organizations, political campaigns, or election-related matters based on Users’ political orientation assessment results.

Article 14 Intellectual Property Rights

Copyrights, trademarks, design rights, database rights, and other intellectual property rights related to the Service and Content belong to the Company or the rightful owners.

Users may use the Service only for personal and non-commercial purposes.

Without the Company’s prior written consent, Users may not copy, distribute, transmit, display, sell, publish, create derivative works from, database, use as training data, or commercially use the Service’s questions, type names, result descriptions, images, graphics, logos, code, data structures, screen layouts, designs, algorithms, or other Content.

Users are permitted to share their own result pages for personal purposes. However, Users must not damage the Company’s reputation or distort the Service content in the process of sharing.

Article 15 User Posts

If the Company later provides features for user posts, such as comments, reviews, inquiries, bulletin boards, or communities, Users must create posts only within the scope that does not infringe the rights of others or violate applicable laws.

Users are responsible for the posts they create.

The Company may delete, hide, or restrict exposure of the following posts without prior notice.

  • Illegal information
  • Posts containing abusive language, defamation, insults, or personal attacks
  • Posts containing discrimination, hate, incitement, or violent expressions
  • Posts containing another person’s personal information or sensitive information
  • Posts that disclose or stigmatize a specific person’s political orientation
  • Advertisements, promotions, spam, or fraudulent posts
  • Posts that interfere with Service operation
  • Other posts that the Company deems inappropriate

Article 16 Restriction of Service Use

If a User violates these Terms or interferes with the normal operation of the Service, the Company may take the following measures.

  • Restriction of Service use
  • Blocking access
  • Making result pages private or deleting them
  • Blocking abnormal requests
  • Deleting related data
  • Reporting to relevant authorities
  • Civil or criminal legal action

The Company may take necessary measures without prior notice in cases of urgent security needs, possible legal violations, or possible infringement of third-party rights.

Article 17 Change and Suspension of the Service

The Company may change or suspend all or part of the Service in any of the following cases.

  • When service improvement or feature reorganization is necessary
  • When a technical failure occurs
  • When a failure occurs in servers, databases, networks, or external service providers
  • When a security issue occurs
  • When it becomes difficult to provide the Service due to changes in laws, policies, or external platform standards
  • When force majeure events occur, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, infectious diseases, power outages, or communication failures
  • When there is a business or operational need

If a change or suspension of the Service is scheduled, the Company will provide prior notice to the extent reasonably possible. However, if the situation is urgent or unforeseeable, the Company may provide notice afterward.

Article 18 External Services and Third-Party Services

The Service may be operated through external infrastructure and third-party services, including Vercel and Supabase.

Failures, policy changes, security issues, pricing changes, or service discontinuation of external services may affect the provision of the Service.

For third-party websites or services accessed through external links within the Service, the relevant third party is responsible for the content, accuracy, stability, personal information processing, transactions, and damages related to such websites or services.

Article 19 Disclaimer

The Company does not guarantee that the Service will always be provided without interruption or operate without errors.

The Company does not guarantee that the Assessment Result accurately represents the User’s actual political opinions, party support, candidate support, voting tendencies, social identity, ideology, or beliefs.

The Company is not responsible for judgments, choices, misunderstandings, disputes, reputational harm, or interpersonal harm arising from the User’s interpretation or use of the Service Result, except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence by the Company.

The Company is not responsible for problems arising from a User voluntarily sharing their own Result, except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence by the Company.

The Company is not responsible for Service use failures or damages caused by reasons attributable to the User.

The Company is not responsible if it cannot provide the Service due to reasons beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, infectious diseases, power outages, communication failures, cloud service failures, or external platform failures.

Article 20 Damages

If a User violates these Terms or applicable laws and causes damage to the Company or a third party, the User shall compensate for such damage.

If the Company is liable for damages to a User, the scope of liability shall be limited to ordinary damages unless there is intentional misconduct or gross negligence by the Company.

Article 21 Privacy Protection

The Company processes Users’ personal information in accordance with applicable laws and the Privacy Policy.

Assessment responses and results may constitute sensitive information from which political opinions can be inferred, and the Company processes such information with care.

Specific matters concerning the collection, use, storage, deletion, outsourcing, overseas processing, and User rights regarding personal information are set forth in the Privacy Policy.

Article 23 Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be interpreted and applied in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea.

If a dispute arises between the Company and a User in relation to the use of the Service, the Company and the User shall make sincere efforts to resolve the dispute through consultation.

If the dispute cannot be resolved through consultation, the court having jurisdiction under applicable laws shall be the court of first instance.

Article 24 Effective Date

These Terms shall take effect on June 6, 2026.
